Dave and Annette Balaba

Dave Balaba, along with his wife Annette, are currently serving as volunteer Children’s Ministry Directors of Southpointe Christian Center.  Over the last 28 years, he has coached football, boys and girls basketball, baseball and softball.  The last 12 years, he’s been serving in Children’s Sunday School and Kids Church. Dave is currently enrolled at Global University for his credentialing.

Annette Balaba works part- time with the Southgate Recreation and Parks District in Sacramento.  Annette has worked with children for 31 years, from preschool thru high school ages. She’s served as a preschool teacher, substitute elementary teacher, Girl Scout leader and consultant, Boy Scout leader, Little League manager, Girls Ministry Sponsor, Sunday School teacher and Kids Church leader.  Annette is currently enrolled at Global University for credentialing.

Dave and Annette have been serving at Southpointe Christian Center since 1996 in various ministries.  Their goal is to lead children to a personal life changing relationship with Jesus Christ; to teach them to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18) by equipping them with an awesome, soul winning plan, they can personally lead their friends and family to Jesus.  We believe inspiration, without education, leads to frustration.  We will teach the children a personal soul winning plan, currently used by Tommy Barnett at Phoenix First Assembly of God.

Dave and his wife, Annette have been married for 25 years. They have three children and their first grand child.  Their son David and his wife, Letisha assist in Kids Church at Southpointe Christian Center. Their daughter, Stephanie and her husband, David, participate in Children’s Ministry at Laguna Christian Center in Elk Grove, Ca. Their youngest daughter, Kristine is the Kids Church Worship Director at Southpointe Christian Center and is currently enrolled at Global University for her credentialing.
