What to Expect from Y.A.
Ministries Y.A.
Ministries has teamed up with two, local up and coming gospel rap artists
and productions. L.I.D.z (Lights In Darkness) and eMEGe Records, along
with other ministries. With the
covering and partnership of our Youth Ministry, expectations are high.
Y.A. Ministries will have many opportunities to travel to different areas
within California and possibly out of state. There is also, a great
possibility of visiting other churches in the Sacramento area. Taking what
we have, “and going into all the world” (Matthew 28:19) Y.A. Ministries’
soul purpose, is to win souls for the Kingdom of God. Attendees will be
taught, through the teachings of the Saturday Soul– winning Society by
Tommy Barnett, and learning how to become an effective soul winner. Along
with going through the course by Rick Warren “The Purpose Driven Life”.
Answering the age old question, “What on earth, am I here for?”
In Y.A.
Ministries, you will learn your gifting and talents and how to utilize all
of them. Learning your talents and gifts, you will be expected to utilize
them within our church. The harvest is ready, but the workers are few.
(Matthew) Meaning, there are a lot of hurting people who are dying without
Christ, people who want to know this God we speak of, but there are few
who are willing and wanting to go out and preach the Good
News.
Purpose
for Y.A. Ministries
There’s a
dying and thirsty generation that has gone unnoticed, and it’s time to
take back our generation. To be Wave Makers and Chain Breakers for Christ.
As young adults in the church, we want to make waves, stir things up, to ‘become’ the church and not just ‘do’ church. We want to break chains and curses of the enemy, which held us down and restricted us from doing our gifts God has given us. We want to be the “repairer of the breach”, to bring the young adults back to their first love, Jesus Christ.
